Dinner Rolls
Light and Fluffy dinner rolls. They don't last very long after coming out of the oven.
Servings: 16 Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 cup Warm Water (100 degrees)
- 2 Tbsp Active Dry Yeast
- ½ cup Granulated Whole Cane Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Melted Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp Fine Sea Salt
- 3 ½ cups Bread Flour All Purpose will work too
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Mix water and yeast
- Add sugar, egg, butter and salt
- Mix well
- Add flour and kneed for 6 minutes on floured surface
- Place in bowl, cover and let stand in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled
- Punch down and divide into 16 balls, arrange on baking tray
- Cover with clean dry kitchen towel and let rise for 1 hour
- Brush with egg wash and bake for 15 minutes
Notes
*** A bread maker can be used on the kneed setting. Add all the dry ingredients first and then the melted butter with egg. Add the water last and start the kneed cycle. First rise will take place in the machine. ***
